It is never easy!

Sunday, July 19, 2015

When you feel like throwing in the towel, giving up and saying "I am fine the way I am!" just remember that nothing worth having comes easy!
Losing weight is hard, keeping the weight off is hard, but being over weight or obese is even harder and we all know that and that is why we are here.
That is why we log in each day and keep on fighting to be the best that we can be.
That is why our SP friends are so important to us, to keep us accountable and on track and to support and encourage when we just feel like we can't go on.
Never stray from SP, and if you do just remember that we are all here just waiting for you to come back so we can remind you why it is always worth it!
Never give up, never give in and never say it is not worth it!
Keep on fighting to be the best that you can be.
You and your health are worth the effort and the hard work that it takes to get to be where you want to be.
Spark on and stay strong! emoticon
Happy Sunday! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

After my little bout of falling off the wagon - vacation, the start of school, not being able to exercise thanks to stupid stitches - I am finally back to checking in on your blogs and this is the first one I read. emoticon Thank you so much for this reminder. It's just what I needed to hear. This journey is about sooo much more than the number on the scale, and I probably wouldn't have found the motivation to get myself back on track without all of you wonderful Spark Friends!!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday. I will totally embrace my addiction to exercise - endorphins are a great thing to crave emoticon . And I'm so glad to finally be catching up on your journey. Can't wait to read about your trip to Italy! Hope you're having a great weekend!

Very true! Thank you so much Holly! I am always sad when I see someone has left SP. Of course it can mean several things, but too often it seems to mean they have given up on their health and efforts.

SP friends are my greatest support system, thankfully I found SP before my son's accident. Venting, sharing here has helped me not only try to live healthier but get other peoples input on being a care giver, dealing with TBI, and the ensuing issues from my son's accident. I'm so glad to be part of this network, no one says "enough Ginie, you need to move on". I am moving on, to the best of my abilities, unfortunately I cannot change what happened I just have to keep dealing with it and try not to succumb to the fear, anxiety or depression from the changes in my life that cannot be undone because of one person being in too much of a hurry to allow a motorcyclist time to get through an intersection-she just had to beat him. We have so many caring people here and I am grateful. Thank you Holly for your post. emoticon emoticon emoticon
