Week 1 of Healthy Lifestyle

Hi my good friends. I'm going to do something that exposes me to a vulnerability that has me extremely nervous and feeling exposed. I've decided to do something drastic to get on and stay on a healthy life path. I'm going to start posting weekly pics of my progress.

I have a good SP friend who every day gets on here and posts a video of her day. All of her challenges, disappointments, road blocks, and her successes, joys and NSV's. She has been at it as of today 116 days and I can see a huge difference in her motivation, body composition and attitude. If she can get on here and open herself up to everyone, then so can I.

I'm also going to list my measurements. Once a week I will take new pictures wearing the same clothes, in the same location and the same poses. I will always post the beginning pic and then the new pic next to it. I want to see what difference there is and when a difference can be seen. Once a month I will measure and post the measurements below my pics. I'm interested in what the results will be. I want to see how much I can lose by May 2016.

Thank you to all of you who have continued to send me sparkmail, goodies for encouragement, posting on my status feed and my page. For these few I truly am appreciative because things have been pretty harsh and I'm finally getting to a point where I can once again face my health straight on.

During my down time I gained what I lost plus more. I might have to change my back drop because the pic is too dark. I'll work on that this week. So below is my pics and my stats.

Upper Arms: 15.5"
Waist: 61"
Hips: 55.5"
Upper Thighs: 32.25
Calves: 19.25

Weight: 300 lbs.

Okay, now I've done it. Some of you have been here before, some of you are here and some of you will be here. We're in this together!

    I am so proud of you!!! Those pictures are great! As a matter of fact you motivated me already!! I was motivated to take my measurements. I wasn't happy with the results, but I'm trying to blame it on the fact that I did it at midnight when you weigh the most so you must be bloated the most!! emoticon

    Anyway, your bravery is already doing wonders so keep it up girlfriend!! It may take a little while to actually SEE change, but if you keep this going and keep your motivation up you'll be SEEING those changes in no time!! I'm so proud of you!! emoticon

    I am so proud of you! This is the first step to your new success. It takes alot of courage to post these things for everyone and I know that you are going to make it! Just keep up the amazing work lady..you have alot of support behind you!

    You can do it! Don't give up if things don't change as fast as you'd like, because they will change! Also consider how you feel--more energetic or better sleep or whatever. You are off to an excellent start!
