Getting Serious

So....it is time (past time, actually) to get serious about getting fit. By that I mean that, for me anyway, desire is not enough; occasional exercise is not enough; watching what I eat but not tracking it is not enough....that kind of thing. So I've been using my SparkTracker for a couple of days now, and today I started tracking what I eat again, and within a couple of days I will be adding in some basic exercises. I'm hoping to see at least a little progress fairly quickly, because I know that will help spur me on......I do like seeing how many steps I've taken (much more today than yesterday). And as I track my meals I like the nutrition chart (I need to up some nutrients). I am intending to take it slowly and methodically this time, since I usually have a habit of jumping into things and doing too much too quickly. It's hard to really realize that getting unfit took time (several years) and getting fit will take time too (hopefully NOT several years)....but it will not happen at all unless I make an effort and make it happen....seriously.
