Day 98

Sunday, June 07, 2015

Sorry I have been MIA lately!!

Good things have finally come my way.

You all know how hard it has been for me living with my parents.... well, things finally came to a head and my mom told me I need to move out. She offered to help me pay for rent but an apartment was too expensive for both of us.

So I started asking around to everyone I know if anyone needed a roommate or was renting out a room, etc. and finally someone who I have never met in person but am friends with on facebook said I could live with her and her husband in exchange for helping with the housework and utilities.

And instead of a 2-hr a day commute, it is 6 minutes from work! :D

She and I used to volunteer at the same rabbit shelter, we just never met. She has rabbits too who I'd get to snuggle. She is a only a few years older than I am. She had cancer when she was in her 20s and she never quite bounced back. She gets tired easily and gets migraines, etc. and she could use company and help around the house. She and her husband are Muslim, so there are a few house rules i have to abide by, like no boys, which I can live with. I usually visit Kyle anyway.

I have also lost 7.5 lbs :)
