A walk around Minneapolis and the Stone Arch Bridge
Friday, May 29, 2015
When I am on vacation, I love to find new areas to go for a walk. Minnesota has done a great job making all of their parks accessible and clean and well taken care of. We live in St. Paul which is separated from Minneapolis by the Mississippi River so it is about 15 to 20 minutes away by car.
Here is the area that we chose yesterday for our walk.
Hennepin Ave Bridge
It has rained quite a few times so as you can see, the trees and leaves are a very vibrant green everywhere we go.
I hope you enjoyed seeing a little bit of our walk! Thanks for stopping by!
Very nice!! When we were there about 20 or so years ago there was a park by the Mississippi River we wanted to go to in the city, but at the time was being flooded out by the rise of the river at the times just before the big flood. Love the pics..such a nice city...enjoyed our visit! I just saw where Minn. -St. Paul was voted 2nd as the fittest city in the U.S. -shows you how many trails, etc. you do have!! Washington DC was first! 2171 days ago
Your pictures are so fantastic, you do take the best pictures Holly. I enjoyed your walk through them, even though I could do the same walk , but wouldn't get the same beauties you took. 2171 days ago
MPLSKEN Glad you took the time to take so many photos! I love them all! I see all of these spots on a regular basis while biking, but unfortunately never take the time to capture the views (other than in my head, haha!). Nice! 2171 days ago
