So this morning I decided to check out my 30 something's ommunity goals. One of them was to remove something from your diet for 21 days. This is REALLY hard for me since I am removing a lot of things from my diet in order to get to my weight loss goal. I signed up for the challenge but now I'm questioning what exactly I remove for 21 days.
The first thing that is coming to mind are the shaker flavor packets I put in my water. I hate using them but sometimes I just cannot get through my normal water so I NEED them.... better keep that one.... the next is FFSour Cream. I've fallen in love with making a low cal cream sauce for my chicken or shrimp so that is something that I'd really like to keep too. Alcohol (wine) is always an option but I LOVE my wine so nope - I can't do that.
I get it... this is 21 days so 21 days without chocolate chips, shaker packs, ff sour cream, or wine WOULDN'T kill me but then I'd feel deprived and that's when things get really out of hand. So here is what I think I CAN do... for 21 days I can give upartificial sweetener in my coffee. The creamer I use makes the coffee sweet and I don't need the extra gunk in it. I can have lemon water instead of tea at restaurants which is cheaper and I dont have to use the artificial sweetner. Think I got it! Woohoo.
So starting tomorrow... no artificial sweetner in my coffee. Sorry team this is the BEST that I can do.
