Day 2160.

Our department is hosting a picnic for us today, and I had every intention of baking a sweet bread for it. Well, last night, by the time we got back from meeting our photographer, we were wiped and went right to bed. I remember early this morning. Lucky for us, we got up early to walk to campus. Instead, we drove and stopped at the grocery store to get some cookies. Well, we ended up getting to campus early, so we squeezed in a 30 minute walk. It wasn't quite the same at the 50 minutes we would have had, but it's something. Fiance is staying on campus late tonight, so he'll be driving home. I came to work in my running gear and will be running my 4.5 mile marathon training run on the way home (the park we're going to is 2.8 miles from home, but I mapped out a longer route). The great thing about this is it will also limit how much I eat at the picnic, as I can't run after I eat usually. I have to let things sit for an hour or more.

NSV - We ended up going to our favorite sandwich place for dinner last night. I skipped my usual tuna salad sandwich and got a roasted artichoke and spinach one instead. We also split a bag of chips (usually we each get our own), and I let him have most of it. Not a big win, but something. I also reached over 20,000 steps yesterday!
