Every time I've started blogging again, I start my blogs over again at Day 1. And I was going to do the same today, but that's not really the truth.
I started my journey 2158 days ago, on June 6, 2009. I had some ups and downs, and even some derailments, but after some time I always came back. I am proud to say that I have been regularly active on this site for 647 days, since August 5, 2013. That is the day I really started taking things seriously, and also the day I started running.
Since then, I have lost 45 lbs, and have maintained most of that loss (about 42 lbs), run multiple 5ks, run my first 10k, and walked 39.3 miles over the course of a weekend for breast cancer research (Avon Walk). I have done more things in those 647 days than I ever thought possible.
I am now training for a half marathon (whaaaaaaaaaaaat?), and trying my best to take care of myself.
Today I am recommitting to the things that got me this far: daily tracking of my nutrition, water intake and exercise, as well as other small things that add up (one cup of green tea per day, logging in and spinning the sparkwheel, commenting on blogs/newsfeeeds/sparkpages, etc). I will also try to blog daily, and include and NSV in each blog.
Today's NSV - Went grocery shopping on a super empty stomach yesterday, and did not buy anything that wasn't on my list!
