Color Me Rad 5K

Over the weekend I completed my first 5K (well, my first 5K that I was trying to finish in under an hour). I completed it with my cousin in 43 minutes! I was so excited that I was able to accomplish this goal.

In addition to my 5K win, I also had a big win this morning. On weekends, Tom and I are usually not home, so we tend to eat out. After being "naughty" over the weekend, I decided to weigh myself this morning to see what damage I had done. The result...NONE! I actually lost 0.2 pounds over the weekend. It isn't much, but it is better then gaining anything, that is for sure.

On the weekends, we have been trying to eat better when we go out. We modify our meals and always get water, which we used to always get soda. These small changes are beginning to show on the scales, which is so motivating to see.
