I just had my first weigh-in since joining SP and found that I lost 1 pound in about 2 weeks. I'm not overjoyed nor "underjoyed" by this. I had expected to have lost a little more though as I have been exercising more (mostly walking) and keeping my calories between 1200-1550 per day. I won't be discouraged at this relatively unremarkable loss and will look at the bright side: I didn't gain.

sp?id=1681 for more tips and suggestions. The whole thing is to take it slow, but steady and imploring the right methods will eventually produce good results. I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes by C.S. Lewis:
One day I'll look back and it will all be different. Just endure the day-to-day drudgery.
