Lab Week is not Healthy

I've worked in the same job for 42 years now. In mid April we celebrate lab week and at the hospital we do that with food. Monday was breakfast pizza and there was enough left for lunch....why did I keep grazing? Tuesday I was off, I did much better, but didn't track.
Wednesday was make your own sundaes...yep I ate that too. Thursday was wraps, cookies and leftover ice cream....Hey I did say no to the ice cream. Friday everyone brought in home cooked delights. They did taste delightful...especially the cookie bar krispie thingies topped with chocolate.
Why do I eat like it's the last supper? Just one more, start tomorrow??? I did this once and went from a high of 256 down to 176. I didn't feel deprived, I felt good, even great because I could move. My knees are hurting more, today I weighed 223.
Starting over, portion control, take my lunch, get control. This next week I have 2 dinners out to celebrate being a Girl Scout volunteer. It's not going to be easy. I need to celebrate being healthy.
