After the move - I'm so tired!

That's a really big moving van!
As you know from my notes, my husband and I recently moved from Colorado to Iowa. I was amazed that our stuff filled two-thirds of that moving truck.
The move went extremely well, considering the distance, and the fact that our "downsizing" still left us with a LOT of stuff! I'm relieved that the moving part is done. But now, we're faced with the never ending task of unpacking.
The part that always surprises me when I move is how exhausted I get. Even on days when it doesn't feel like I've done much, I'm ready for bed way too early. I know it will get better over time, but right now, the fatigue is also affecting my weight management goals.
I'm sure you've been there. When we get so tired, we decide we need something to eat. And pretty soon, the bad eating habits have all slipped back in. The move also took my exercise plan out the window.
I know this is all temporary, and I'm already starting to recover and get back on track. Soon...I'll be back to writing more notes and sharing new ideas.
But for now, I'm using one of my all-time best tools. I simply remind myself:
Minimize the damage!
