    Sounds extreme but I guess being 100 pounds overweight is extreme too. It was bad enough to land him in the hospital with health issues. I hope he stays healthy and fit. Not for me though.

    I read that too. I agree that what he did doesn't seem to be the wisest choice. I have to admit that resorting to drastic measures sometimes seems tempting, because trying to do it the healthy way sometimes takes so long and you wonder if you are EVER going to reach your goals. At least he was only on this a few months, and now is making sure he is choosing healthy food instead of processed and empty calories, as well as exercising.

    1,000 calories a day isn't healthy for a woman! He's a 6'7" man!! He should be eating double that. I don't know how he has any energy to do anything.

    I agree 1000 a day may cause a person to loose muscle instead of fat.
