Well, this is day 14 of my virtual hike. I wasn't going to blog about it today but as I was reviewing my walk I noticed that I accomplished a milestone.... My first 100 miles on the trail!!!
The hikers found this strange manmade hole in the wall..... not sure what it was for
There have been many posts of beautiful wildflowers...
And then there was this critter, who I find much friendlier than the snake that was on the trail yesterday....
The trail angels were at work, leaving cold drinks in the spring!
which provided a welcome break for weary hikers!
And then there was this trail angel..... a support vehicle at one of the cross roads of the trail! Truly a blessing for those in need!
Things appear a bit greener here, which is nice to see!
So my goal before bedtime tonight is to reach Stage 5 of the trail which is about 9 miles out.
So on I walk!
Many of you have asked what site I use for my virtual walk. I use the site Walking for Fun.
It is a free site with many trails you can select. It will sync with a fitbit if you have one. If not, you can log your steps or miles manually each day. I find virtual walks keep me motivated and push me a little - like today wanting to reach Stage 5 by morning.
If it appeals to you, check it out! Walk on!
