Day 2 of 70 of the Neon Ninja Challenge

I just tallied my calories from yesterday and see that the second bowl of Pad Thai and extra peanuts put me over. Yes, it was unplanned. My daughter loves Pad Thai so I like to make it for her but it is definitely a trigger food for me. I never order it in the restaurant (Chili Basil Chicken stir fry is my fav) but when I make it at home, I don't think I've EVER had JUST One bowl.
Ah, live and learn.
I did also have a small O'Henry and York peppermint patty for the sweet craving. I'm happy that I limited myself.
I'm not going to consider it a failure because I have some pretty heavy duty bad habits to overcome if I'm going to lose weight.
To my credit, I did do 45 min on the elliptical and I did stay away from the chips, even though there's still an open bag in my kitchen. Also, I loaded up on the veggies. they definitely help with keeping hunger at bay.
I don't have anything scheduled for today - the first day off of nine days. I'm going to focus on my water intake, and plan some meals as it is way too easy to start snacking all day without my regular routine.
I think this may be a no-exercise day: give my muscles and knees a break!
