Week 1, my throw-away week

Just to start the conversation...I really do not like to write. I always feel disconnected and don't feel that interesting.
That being said, I just completed week one, sort of. I think of week one as sort of a throw-away week. Sort of like the first born child. You are still learning the ropes and you make A LOT of mistakes and when the second one rolls around you are an old expert. Well that is the summation of my first week.
I somewhat paid attention to what was going on, halfheartedly tracked, and occasionally logged on. Not exactly a full-on assault to my food woes. And yet somehow I let a whole pound slip from my sizable frame. Hmm, I think I am getting somewhere with this.
This week I changed my goals for slower more gradual weight loss. Lets face it...trying too hard too fast will just leave me where I was before...frustrated and hungry, and ultimately giving in, giving up, and quitting. And folks you know where that goes.
