It was a fairly nice day at work today. There were no disasters or impossible problems to solve so that was nice.
My Fitbit declared that I only actually slept 3.2 hours last night but I didn't feel too bad today. I must have been having some serious dreams or the dog was walking on me... one or the other. I'm not sure what the sleep issue I have actually is but I tend to move a lot and flail my arms around batting off unseen enemies. Since we have a king size bed my husband is fairly safe over on his side, but the dogs have been frightened a few times. :) It's not a wonder I wake up exhausted some mornings. I usually only do this when I am extremely stressed about something or other.
Went up to the YMCA again and did 30 minutes on the treadmill and only 5 on this torture device called a NuStep or something or other. It was like an elliptical but it had a seat. My knees could only take about 5 minutes before they were really hurting. I've learned my lesson about my knees and how quickly they can sideline me. I'm not sure why it bothered my knees but walking on the treadmill is fine. I even hiked the incline up to 3 for several minutes and then slowly back down to 0 incline.
After the gym we had steak on the new George Foreman grill. It was really good!
Kept my calories in range and got in 8 glasses of water today. It is so hard to get that done but I am trying to work up to doing more every day.
All in all a pretty good day and the best news was that there will be another Moody Blues Cruise next year in March! I am already making plans for that but the official website hasn't been updated to the exact date. My husband and I went on this cruise in 2014 and it was simply wonderful and the best vacation I have ever experienced. It was full of music and great people and amazing bands. Five fabulous days aboard a ship full of talented and genuinely nice musicians. The Zombies even ate breakfast with the passengers! The band...not real zombies... although after a few nights of staying up too late...there were plenty of them around too!
I hope to have much of my weight loss accomplished and be in really great shape to be able to dance the night away under the stars next March. That's my goal my friends. :) MBC here I come!
