The Month of LOVE... February...

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

Hello everyone! Getting in my February Photo blog... so here we go!

We started off our February with a WIN... WooHoo to the New England Patriots!!!

It was such a great game that I forgot to take pictures at the end when they won! hee hee.

While the Pats were winning the Super Bowl, Mother Nature was dumping some snow on us! The next day my cubs went out to shovel and I caught these photos of my oldest cub posing and acting crazy for the camera...

We have been having snow storm after snow storm. This is the beginning of it all...

I had Papabear stand near his pile of snow. I pulled out just the red in this photo. So his red shovel would be the focus. That shovel has put in many hours, and it's still not done!

Another storm and the cubs helping their Daddy by cleaning up the driveway and around the house.

Another storm, more snow... it doesn't look as high because Papabear has been shoveling it and bringing it to the back yard. It was so high, it made it very hard for Older Cub to see coming out the the driveway in his car.

Valentine's Day! Both Cubs have girlfriends, so they had fun giving their "girls" little gifts.
We don't make a huge thing about Valentine's Day, but we did get the cubs a little something (small Heart of chocolates & in the bag, gum!)

Notice little cub showing me his muscles in this photo... hee hee. My shirt-less cub all the time now!

Surprise...

Another snow storm! This is the snow pile before Papabear shovels it down AGAIN!!! Can I say I'm so done with snow?!!

Sick of all the snow, I treated myself to some flowers! I needed to see something more then "white" snow....

Yes, this is what the SUN looks like! I can see it through these snow covered trees... I think I can feel the warmth... I think I Can, I think I Can, I Think I Can!!! Our temps have ranged from Negative 14 to in the 20's. So seeing the sun and pretending to feel the warmth is good for the sole, hee hee.

My Oldest cub competing at the States meet for Indoor Track.

This is him after the State meet! They won Division 1 All-State 4X400M Relay, and are now heading to Nationals this Friday! WooHoo!

We got more snow this morning, but the temps went close to 40, so Papabear was out there getting our driveway to the pavement! Look at that though... no jacket!!! Too bad the deep freeze came back the next day.

Guess who's shirt-less and posing for me again...

He's gonna be mad I posted this, but I always say when you pose, I'm gonna take a picture! hee hee.

I found out this month that I was going to be an Auntie again! Congrats to my Brother and Sister-in-law for Baby number two on the way!

February 21, 2015 I found out my Dad's cousin... my second cousin... passed away unexpected. He was a wonderful man. Always smiling and very helpful and loving to all! He just celebrated his 60th birthday on 2/15. We'll miss you Dick!

Praying for his Wife, Sue...

Yesterday was my FIL's birthday! What do you get the guy who has everything?!!

I made this basket of his favorite things, items, food he uses or likes a lot. Each item I put a tag to it with little quotes on them. The tags all explained how we love him using the name or word of what the item was. Example... we gave him some Strawberry gum. The quote was "You are BERRY special to us Grampie". He liked it!

I know the month is not done, but I had time today, so posting February is what I did (wink)!
This brings me to yesterday...
My cubs went skiing. They had a blast! Today Papabear took the day off and is Skiing / Snowboarding with them! Hope they all have fun!

Friday will be Oldest Cub's Nationals Track Meet. Maybe I'll be able to say next month, that they won! That would be nice! But just getting here was great for them all! Congrats to them all!

So I'll see you next month...
Have a great end of February and start of March! Praying Spring is right around the corner!!!

I was sending crazy pictures to my sister because she sent some to me of her Husband. This is Papabear getting into the action with the cubs...

I don't get on the Spark Pages as much as I used to so I've got a lot of catching up to do.

My mouth is still hanging to the floor with the news that both your cubs now have girlfriends---and the odler cub is driving. Where is the time going?????

And I loved the custom gift basket to your FIL---especially how you coordinated the tag to the gift. Very creative.

    And so you!
    Love you---Charlotte

Oh my gosh! That is just too much snow! We've been getting almost a snow storm a day in Denver, but only 8 or 9 inches at a time - or less. However - the COLD has come in and I am definitely over going out to shovel sidewalks and driveway first thing each morning. I am so looking forward to spring!
