Excuse after excuse....

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

When I decided to get back on track in January I found that my spark tracker was not working anymore. Well that was enough of an excuse for me not to get back on track. I had what I needed to use the excuse to eat junk and not exercise.

Well Monday afternoon I got my tracker back and at that point I decided that it is time to do this. This little tracker gives me the push that I need to get moving.

You see I am an emotional eater if I am upset I eat, if I'm stressed I eat, when I'm bored I eat.

I am working on dealing with my emotional eating and the past three days I have decided when I feel stress getting the best of me or if I decide I am bored I hit the treadmill instead of turning to food.

I must say I have done pretty good and the feeling that I have after I exercise is so much more rewarding than the feeling I am left with after I binge eat. So if its an excuse I need then its an excuse I will find....

*I have to hit my step goal for the day
*I want to receive my monthly trophy for my tracker
*Exercise relieves stress
*Walking relieves my headaches
*I will feel better after I exercise
*Exercise will help me lose weight
*I feel less hungry when I exercise

You see there are more excuses for me to get up and move than for me to sit here and eat.

One step at a time being tracked by my little tracker I will get to my goal emoticon

Isn't spark great. As bad as something can get we know how we have progressed through the spark site. It can be exercise as you have learned or something as simple as water for me. Keep working the program.
