Hooray for the day after v. Day.

Friday, February 13, 2015

Will be so glad when the commercialized Vaentine day is past. Too much candy in the stores. Overpriced flowers and guilted dinners on a terribly busy day to try and eat out. Try this regularly. Hug your spouse or mate every day. Kiss them hello, goodbye. Tell them how much you love them unexpectedly and watch them smile. Try it, you might be surprised. It will make their day. Guess what, no calories in my suggestions.

I'm with you! Commercialized holidays are for the vendors. Much better to express affection and appreciation on a regular basis.

    Great Blog!
I am one weird gal, I guess, cuz Valentine's Day does not excite me one little bit. Loved it in grade school - (back in the day) when we gave valentines to all our classmates, but since then, it is no big deal - Just an over commercialized hype, in my humble opinion.

    LOL - Valentine's Day - Bah-humbug! emoticon

emoticon We ladies love Valentine's Day, but my husband does very little on the day. Instead, he shows me his caring and love year 'round by all the things he does. For example, he always fills my gas tank and puts up dishes, folds clothes, etc, even though he is a busy guy.
So thanks for your blog and the reminder.
