Down a pound!

Monday, February 02, 2015

I have gone all week being for the most part a good boy. I had one slip up were I ate a portion of Cheetos but that is miniscule compared to the last few weeks were I mess up big at the casino and blow my day by a 1000 calories or so. Every day this last week I was at goal one day I was 100 calories over. Exercise was up Hiking, walking. I get on the scale today and I get a 1lb loss??? What do you mean 1 lb??? I really felt confident about weighing in today. emoticon Energy levels have been high, I'm feeling good! I feel like I've lost. Stupid 1 lb lol maybe I'm going to have a big week next week who knows lol

The scale is a very fickle thing! emoticon emoticon

Mine says I gained a pound, yet I can now fit comfortably in my size 12 jeans (which I couldn't zip, let alone button!!!) emoticon

    Hang in there! emoticon emoticon

Don't get down on your self. I believe that even when the scale doesn't move much my clothes tell me a lot. So don't give up and get angry about it, just know that your body is changing more ways then the scale. I like to think I'm doing my heart some good and given it some love right back. Your doing awesome.

Have patience. I used to get really frustrated when I was on the Optifast program. I'd go the entire week consuming absolutely NOTHING but my shakes, and I'd go to weigh in and I'd have lost a lb (at one point only 1/2 lb), but almost always, I'd go in the next week and be down several pounds. All sorts of things can cause those one week plateaus, but as long as you're eating fewer calories than you're burning you WILL keep losing weight. I'm betting you'll have a much better loss next week and remember, even a loss of a pound is 16 oz in the right direction.

I understand exactly how you feel, I wrote a blog about feeling this way today as well. I gained one pound though. I thought for sure I would lose after all the exercise I done last week, however, I gained 1.2 pounds. It really bothered me at first, but i was finally able to pick myself back up again and had a great workout today. We can do this, just got to hang in there and trust the weight will come off. emoticon
