Hello all my SP friends! Hope you all are doing well and made it through the 1st month of 2015!!!
I really miss doing my Photo Blogs, but just don't have the time. So I came up with this idea I would try to do one each month! Planning for them to be at the end of each month and recapping what I've done during that month. If you're on board with me, then here we go... Happy January!
We have to start with the year turning 2015...
This is my husband... Papabear... and I. Happy New Year!!!
This is my oldest cub. He had gotten his licences in December, but his "real" one came in the mail today. Reminder my cubs are going and instead of being sad, I'm looking forward to what is to come...
I have these little signs in my bathroom and switch them with the seasons. I didn't have one for "Winter", so made this one. I was happy with it... and being a snowman lover, I think it came out nice.
The Monster Trucks came to town! When my cubs (my boys) were little we went every year! They loved them! Got signatures, met the drivers, sat in the trucks, etc. Now they are older, so we really don't go, but my BIL asked if we wanted to go with him and his younger son. We jumped on it and enjoyed the show and seeing my nephew's face seeing them for the 1st time!
Remember me talking about my cubs getting older and looking forward to what's new?!! Well in December they both got their first real girlfriends. My younger cub, we really don't talk too much about it and dating yet. But then again, he'll be a Freshman next year, and the summer before I went into 9th grade, is when I met Papabear. The rest is a wonderful love story, hee hee.
I didn't want to post pics of the girls, so I just posted this picture above of my two cubs... growing up! FYI - both of the girls are very nice and "Mommy Approved", hee hee. My oldest cub had her come over for game night and she fit in perfectly! Over a month dating for them both, and going great!
These are all of my oldest cub. He's in Indoor Track season right now, so we spend a lot of time driving to his meets and watching him run the 600 meter and 4 x 400 meter relay races. Top picture is of him getting a metal for a race, and the other two are him running in the 4 x 400 meter relay race. He qualified for both races to go to States! Good luck to them all!
This is Papabear this past Tuesday snow blowing the Blizzard that came to our state! Actually they said the winds were a couple numbers away, so it REALLY wasn't a Blizzard, but it looks bad to me, hee hee. This is round 1 of snow blowing. We got a total of 22 inches of snow. And I'm not complaining, because others got more, so I'll take our 22 inches!
Had to at least have one picture of one of my teddy bears... here's Frosty enjoying the snow!
He'll be mad if he knew I posted this, but this is my little cub. Last night when he came to say good night to me, he was showing me his muscles. I, being the Mommy I am, grab my camera and he went crazy. This is just ONE of the pics he posed for me, hee hee. He's so crazy!!! Love this little cub!
Last, but not least, is again, Papabear! Yesterday was his birthday, so we went to his favorite restaurant and he got his rib dinner! Worked out great that his birthday fell on Wednesday, because the ribs are the special that day, and cost less! WooHoo!! He had a great night and enjoyed himself! BTW, He said I could take a picture as long as I didn't put on my flash. So that is why the picture is dark... but I got my memory, so I'm happy, hee hee.
Thank-you for staying and reading about my month of January. I know January it's not done yet, but I wanted to get this done, and had time. Hope to see you in February! Hope you have a great rest of your day. Stay safe and warm (if you're in the cold), and if you're in the warm... send it my way, hee hee. It was negative 1 this morning and I think it's now 4 degrees outside... hee hee.
