    I've never had kale chips before, but I admire you for your bravery in trying those in a vlog! I don't like bitter things, so when I heard that kale is bitter, I just decided to steer clear of them entirely. I have had really good chips made out of root vegetables, yams or sweet potatoes with parsnips and something else. Walgreens sells that. It's quite good! You might want to look for that. I don't normally eat potato chips, but I like crackers sometimes. They have to be vegan now. I'm allergic to milk and eggs, so, as a vegetarian, I had to switch to being vegan (except I still like honey sometimes). I love to have fruit sometimes, especially a banana a day, if we have any. I haven't been buying very many groceries, since we hardly ever go shopping. I hope somehow that can change, because we keep running out of everything, and it's jarring.

    Go to snacks:
    * Bananas
    * Apples
    * Oranges
    * Crackers
    * Nuts (in small quantities)
    * Dried fruit

    Some of them are nothing like ice cream, but Turtle Mountain So Delicious has a whole variety of frozen desserts. I like them, but I think it may be an acquired taste.

    But I have to confess that I never can seem to beat Doritos when I'm having a hard day.

    HI there Cutie! Thanks for letting me know your thoughts on those kale chips. I see them all the time with the chips in the stores and then here on SP with what people say and recipes, etc. I know that some people put fresh kale in their smoothies. I don't like that idea either. Oh, and since you like ice cream, Skinny Cow novelties are yummy and there are quite a few varieties too. For evenings, I like prepared raw veggies and apple slices are so good with a tad of PB and celery is good too, with a little PB. Sometimes I'll have those little cheddar goldfish by Pepperidge Farm or count them out ahead of time. You can really have alot of those for an ounce serving! If I feel full enough, I'll just drink some of my favorite sparkling water, which has zero calories! Good luck to you!

    Great post! Ugh, kale. I tried it once because I was told it was a substitute for spinach. Huh, not a chance. Anyway, my go to snack during the day is usually 6-10 raw almonds and a chai jasmine tea with splenda. I'm such a good girl at work but at night? Gimme popcorn! True it's air popped but with some garlic powder it's pretty good and with a half cup of skim milk I'm good to go. Craving is a done deal.
