Desires

So I've decided to give Sparkpeople another go. Although I've never really left -- I've been keeping up with sparkfriends' blogs. But I haven't been logging in and tracking. I no longer track food intake or weigh myself. I no longer track exercise minutes, other than the sync that happens from my Fitbit to the exercise tracker.

And, I think that Spark provides some really great resources, and I wanted to figure out how to use them to enhance my life. So I added in my goals for January (eat breakfast at home every day, get at least 6 hours of sleep each night, bring a lunch to work every day (while still allowing for an occasional lunch with colleagues) and dress well for work every day). I've been tracking these every day, and my January record is perfect, which is unprecedented. I also updated my goal board with images and goals that reflect my primary intention (to feel good), and I've been reviewing that goal board. That's working well for me.

And big things are happening in other parts of my life. I became a licensed facilitator for Danielle LaPorte's Desire Map workshops as part of my new coaching business. Living in accordance with my core desired feelings (authentic, magical, expansive) has made a huge shift in my life. Everything, from my relationships with others and myself, to little every day decisions has become easier by keeping my desired feelings in mind. I hosted my first in person Desire Map workshop this past Saturday and it was incredible. It far exceeded my expectations. It was so amazing to be able to work with people to really dive into how they want to feel, and to start identifying actions that will help them feel those feelings every day. I'm now looking for a venue to host future workshops. I'd love to do these every other month, or perhaps even once a month. And I'm doing an online Desire Map workshop starting in March. I can't believe how honoured and grateful I feel to be able to share this work with others!
