I thought I'd give this a try so on Friday I just drafted an email to myself with everything I was eating for the last few days. I drank water throughout, but sometimes noted it when it was more of a "conscious effort" to drink. Here goes:

so my general thought is I ate a ton of carbs this weekend, and not nearly enough protein. I haven't logged this all yet (for some reason writing down is easier than logging for me), but I know my ratios are terrible. But my other thought is that it could have been way worse. Besides going to Whole Foods for the pizza slices, I didn't eat out at all, which is a big accomplishment for a weekend. I even see the pizza as mini-win, because I wanted pizza, and normally would have caved and ordered a whole pie and had leftovers tempting me. I also think on weekdays I need to have a good snack planned for around 4 pm, between lunch and dinner, so that I don't eat so much for dinner.
Idk if I'll keep doing this, but maybe. At a certain point I knew I was going to post this, but it didn't really work in shaming me into eating any better. So we'll see.
