I'm BACK!!!

How I've missed SparkPeople & my friends here. But, sometimes life is so busy! For one thing, we moved this summer... for the first time in over 17 years!

I am ready to re-lose the last 12 pounds of what I gained back. I've been faithfully exercising the past 5 or 6 months. I did 3 races: a 10 mile run (PR by over 13 minutes!!), a half marathon (PR by about half a minute) & a 5K (PR by more than a minute!). I also started tennis lessons! I'm enjoying my workouts, but I'm not happy with my weight.

I'm trying a free 30 day trial of DailyBurn... have you heard of it? I'll let you know how it goes. And, I started tracking my food again today. I know that's the way I lose weight... I must track what I eat!

I hope everyone is well & look forward to catching up with you. I'm going to start my workout now... a 33 minute DailyBurn with butt, hip & thighs & then I'll work the same muscles on my new pilates reformer. I LOVE IT!

    It's so difficult maintaining weight loss. Especially when you're running those half marathons, and you need to fuel you body adequately. If you don't eat enough you bonk, if you eat too much, here comes the extra pounds. Not easy, but keep up the good work.

    Hiiiii! It's great to see you back! I have heard of Daily Burn, but I don't like working out at home. I might have to do more of it though, as my schedule is getting more hectic and there are only 24 hours in a day :-( Let me know what you think of it!

    WE CAN DO THIS! I have the last 12 lbs to go, too. These are stubborn, stubborn pounds, too. I've been losing the same 3 lbs for about 6 weeks. Partly it's because I feel pretty good and all my clothes fit, so I'm less motivated or it's less urgent. And YES, it's always my eating that I need to track. Exercising is like breathing. I still want to push through and reach my goal weight.
