New year. First update

No loss in the last couple of weeks. Still kicking butt. Got back into running with excitment again. And now that the holidays are over, back to the eating plan. I have a 5K coming up March 14th. Going to get ready for that. Hope everyone had a great New Year.

    Definitely - get that elliptical machine!! They are awesome b/c they give you a great workout and it's so easy on your joints.

    And congrats on all the running you've been doing. I only run a bit (bad knee) but walk a lot. I've been buying new sneakers every 6 months. Think that makes a big difference. Haven't tried Brooks, but I can vouch for Asics - they're my favs! Glad you enjoyed the holidays & it sounds like you're getting back on track for then new year. That is awesome. Keep up the great work!

    emoticon Challenges are so good! I'm really looking forward to really walking now, with having a new knee in now. Ya, I had a new total knee replacement on Dec. 15th, and everything's going good. Now just to heal so I have really move. Good luck with you with your challenges and your 5K too. emoticon emoticon
