Yes, you may say that...

Losing almost 90 has been an amazing journey. It has speed bumps, potholes, and pitfalls, but the journey is so worth it! There are way more side effects, for lack of a better word, than I expected. One is the shift from being a blob shaped human to an attractive shaped human.
As a woman in LOS ANGELES (land of perfection), there is a lot of attention paid to being/ becoming beautiful. It's an interesting phenomenon. Fake eyelashes, fake tans, fake um, you know, and whiter than white teeth…I'm just trying to get the body I have to be the best it can be, not add other fake stuff to it. Sometimes when I go out, I feel overshadowed by the typical LA beauty.
SO THANK YOU, to all of you SparkFriends, male and female, that have whistled, "hubba-hubba-ed", and commented that I "look hot". I spent years over 200 lbs and I never heard that. It feels like a huge accomplishment to get that sort of affirmation.
Many people, here and at work, have asked "Can I say that, do you mind?" And although I think it is incredibly polite to ask, and sometimes HR appropriate if at work, I don't take offense. On the contrary, I take the comments as encouragement and support!!
Thank you all! And here's to an awesome 2015!!
