San Antonio Texas day 2 and 3

Wednesday, November 26, 2014

On our first day in SA Texas, I think I had 6.5 miles of walking by the time I was done for the day.
Day 2 was 10 miles and day 3 was 8.5 miles so as you can see, I decided that I would make the most of my time outdoors. The weather there was kind of fickle, the sun would come out and shine for a couple of hours and then it would be pouring down rain for about 10 minutes to a 1/2 hour and then it would dry up again. We took umbrella's with us where ever we went.
Here are a few more pics of the fun and beautiful things that I saw.

This is our hotel where we stayed right about the River Walk.

The Spanish Govenor's Palace

This is the Towers of America, built for the Worlds fair, not sure what year, but this is where is had dinner one night and the restaurant at the top does a slow spin so it takes about an hour and a half to revolve and you get a beautiful view of the city.

This is the view from our hotel room as the sun was beginning to set.
I hope you enjoyed another virtual tour of San Antonio!
I am wishing all of my American Sparkers a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all are spending it with people you love!
Spark on!

Beautiful city. Texans love their fountains and waterfalls. Ft. Worth where we lived before, had a gorgeous one downtown. Glad you had a good time! emoticon I wished we had had the time to visit SA when we had lived there. Missed seeing Austin and The Alamo too-another regret. But, maybe we will get back there one day.
Holly, so proud of you for maintaining your weight loss! You look so slim and trim!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

The pictures are absolutely gorgeous Holly, your looking good too. We ate in a tower like that in Niagra Falls for our honeymoon and my DH ate at one in Seattle. I see I need to go back to San Antonio, there are things I missed.
    Take care. emoticon emoticon emoticon
