We were lucky enough to be able to get away for a few days to a warmer climate since I am from Minnesota and we have had an early winter visiting us.
Here are a few pics of the fun that I had. Some of the time I was alone because my husband went for a conference and so while he went to different sessions, I went walking for miles!
Many cowboy hats to choose from!
St. Joseph's Catholic church where I stopped in to pray a few times since it was right next door to the Alamo and I visited that area almost every day I was there.
I did enjoy a couple of margarita's while I was there! They were awesome!
They had some of the most interesting trees and plants in the court yard.
This was a very pretty area and so easy to walk around and absorb the history of the area.
I loved the weather, even though it rained frequently, I was still able to get out and walk around since it was quite warm. I will post the rest of the pics of the riverwalk and few other areas that we were lucky enough to visit! Thanks for stopping by!
Just beautiful, loved the pictures, never been to Texas. Thanks for the pictures of the flowers always love those. Such a beautiful church, I would love to pray there. That squirrel picture is GREAT! My husband loves those for some reason. 1958 days ago

As many times as I've visited SA, I've never been to St Josephs. Next time...I promise. I love the Riverwalk area and recognize some of the places your pictures were taken. Thank you for sharing. 1960 days ago

I'm so glad you had a good time! I loved that church, and there were several others that we went into - my sister is a retired minister, but we prayed in all the denominations! I loved walking the River Walk, too, and we also hit the Alamo a couple of times, and were in that whole area every day. We never took our car out of the parking garage! I would love to live where it was that walkable! I'm pretty sure I would lose weight!
love your pictures. It reminds me of my long weekend for nephew Alex's graduation from Air Force basic training a year ago December. I didn't make it into St Joseph's, I had Erik with me and his patience is limited. My sister and I went to Mass at a Catholic church nearer the airport while my SIL and brother kept Erik busy. That was my second visit to San Antonio, the first was with my husband for our youngest's graduation from Air Force Basics. It is a town I enjoy walking around as it is so pedestrian friendly. 1960 days ago
