It's been a week!!

Holy Smokes! I have kept physical fitness at the forefront of my consciousness for a whole 7 days. I signed up for SP on Saturday evening and started tracking on Sunday. I am so proud of myself. So what is different this time? I think I had done enough preplanning to make this work. It was not just something I jumped into in a fit of madness. I have kept to baby steps. This forum has helped me stay honest without punishment. And in fact: Thank you friends for appreciating the honesty and reinforcing my commitment to not slacking or "fudging" my results. :-)

It is noon for me and I have already gotten in my 10 minutes. Once again I chose to walk to an errand, and then while I was out and about just kept going. It was not a difficult choice and I felt no angst about doing it. I will keep this up for another week and then update my personal goal from 10 minutes of exercise to 10 minutes of exercise that makes me sweat. That is another doable baby step. I hate sweating. And I have come to the conclusion that I am a bit of a prima dona.....I don't like looking like something the cat dragged in, but that is what it is going to take if I am to improve! And here I always thought I was low maintenance! emoticon
