Here's my thought for the day: My definition of Mindless Eating is anything I eat during the day that I forget to log onto my food tracker! If I don't even remember that I ate it, it's mindless! Ha ha. Really. Yesterday it was a 4 oz. carton of grape juice. No biggie, but if I keep forgetting little bits like that, they'll add up. Next thing I'll be wondering why I've been working out and paying attention to my fitness endeavors but not losing weight. It's the mindless eating. I try really hard to pay attention to the food I eat and enjoy it. I don't want to finish consuming a meal or snack and not even remember that I did. So I try to pay attention to the food I'm eating and not just mindlessly pack it in while I watch TV or surf the net.
I think we all need to work on that. It's so easy to just grab a bite cause its convenient and forget to add it or even bother looking at it as we shove it in our mouths. With me it was a cupcake yesterday that I wasn't even hungry for....it happens. Keep adjusting and tweaking where you need to but remember this is about progress not perfection. 2271 days ago
