What a Difference a Month Can Make!!

Wednesday, October 29, 2014

Last month on September 27th, I read an old blog on here and decided to make a change... and I did!

In the last month, I have:

Recommitted myself to eating healthy
Given up caffeine (man that was rough)
Given up fast food (equally rough)
Realized that I was addicted to some unhealthy foods (again)

Oh and I lost 13 of the 26 lbs I had gained from April to September (before that I was maintaining)

Feels pretty good actually ... I did it by finding my motivation and committing to it - committing to myself ...

Sunday marks my 2nd Spark-a-versary ... can't help but say I'm pretty proud to only be about 10 lbs over my 1 year Spark-a-versary (especially considering I plateaued right after that Spark-a-verary and then started gaining about 6 months later grr) Sure, I would have loved to be back to 192 (where I was at the one year mark and firmly stuck until that April) .... but I'll take as close to 200 as I can get!! Working my butt off over the rest of the week ....

I know Spark has changed a lot over the years (really sad to see Fast Track gone...) but I wish more people would come here and feel the Spark and know its so much more than a diet.... I have people trying to convince me to move over to My Fitness Pal, but why on Earth would I leave Spark?! Even when you loose your way you can always come back to old Spark Friends ... where else can you do that?! Where else can you feel support and love even when you are lost?!

I'm so thankful ... I will never give up!

    Wow, you're doing so great!

I would never leave Spark either. I don't like the environment at My Fitness Pal, despite being asked to join several times. Spark peeps are my peeps! Glad you think so, too. :)
