Day 59 Heart Hunger "Insteads"

Today's exercise is to come up with some good ways to feed the emotions of your heart instead of using food. My favorite "instead" are:

1. Meditation
2. Take a long bath, lighting a candle, using bubbles
3. Cleaning - ok, this is kind of crazy, I know, but it always makes me feel better
4. Gardening - even pulling weeds for a few minutes helps
5. Grooming my dogs, brushing them, cleaning their ears, clipping nails
6. Dancing around the house to my favorite music
7. Watching old movies
8. Reading a good book
9. Going for a walk or drive
10. Call my sister or one of my kids
