Spark Friends ......

middle age spread! Perimenophause! HELP ME! Not gaining but not losing. I WILL BEAT THIS!!!

I am pondering a new exercise routine -- I currently walk away the pounds or treadmill. Looking for something new to add to the mix.

Suggestions appreciated!

    I'm in a similar boat. I'm 41 and my weight loss has been stalled three weeks. My routine was all Leslie Sansone and the treadmill. I NEEDED to do something to change it up so I did. I purchased a punching bag and boxing gloves. I purchased a leslie sansone cd with kick boxing and strength training. I also purchased wrist weights, tubes and resistance bands and lastly I started putting my kids games for the wii to good use, wii fit, wii fit plus, wii sports resort, all of the " just dance" games, etc. and then i bought a new one called walk it out. I saw one the other day called zumba... haven't purchased it yet but that is the next one I have my eye on.

    emoticon If you aren't already doing Strength Training, I definitely recommend it. Leslie has some Great Walks that incorporate Resistance Bands and light hand weights.
    emoticon Also, be sure that you are including some intervals of Speed or Inclines with your Walking.
