What a way to start off my morning

This House Finch is on our telephone line every morning. 7am, and it is singing away. It comes back in the evening, sings, and watches the sun go down.
DH and I went grocery shopping. After we finished we drove across the street. There is a huge field with Joshua Trees. One area they haven't touched yet, and I hope they don't. I love the desert, and the beauty it has to offer. We drove on one long road, that led to several other dirt roads. Dh and I thought we should bring the dogs there for a walk. Nobody was around, complete solitude. Another reason I love my area, is no matter where you look, you see hills and mountains. Makes my day. Here are a few shots of the Joshua Trees. Each tree has their own shape. Some skinny, others well rounded and full. Some areas were having winds, and you can see the dust in the background. Made it kind of hazy. It isn't smog, just dust.
This was my favorite tree.
Hills and Mountains in my home, Palmdale. I just found out that the Mountains in Palmdale are part of the San Bernardino Mountains. Our Mountains stretch across the southern part of our valley. Jackie, that makes us kindred spirits!
This is where the San Bernardino Mountains start. Stretches east to west.
Tehachapi Mountains, which is north of us.
My Garden Rabbit is ready for Fall. I put one of my new Mums by the Rabbit.
Time to call it a day. Starling getting ready for the Sunset.
There will be a Blood Moon, Eclipse of the Moon, this am. Starts at 5am Eastern time. That makes it 2 am here. Hope I can wake up.
