I liked when you mentioned the all or nothing state of mind because that's what I have trouble with. You'll find what works for you and the fact that you talk about it and work it out, I see you being successful with what you need and what will work for you.
It took me a while to figure out what I needed to do opposed to what I thought I should be doing. Being true to me really worked and I lost 50 pounds 4 years ago on Sparkpeople and have kept it off. I probably have 7 more pounds to be in a normal BMI but as a post menopausal woman I just care about being healthy and active which I am.
I like your open and candidness and think the way you figure things out will lead you to being successful with this journey. Thanks for sharing and look forward to your next vlog.
It's good to take the time to vent out like you did here. Hopefully that wlll make you feel so much better. Take the time to do it as often as you need to. I have a dear friend who has trouble with depression from time to time, and she loves to keep busy like alot of people do, but also she changes her rooms, as far as just even the same furniture getting moved around and then changes the decor too. She love interior decorating and has picked up things here and there, so she has things on hand, like picture changing, etc. Alot of 2nd hand too. Just a thought if that would appeal to you. You can completely change the look of rooms. I love that idea and have done some of it too, but I don't really have trouble with depression. Ya, I guess you just have to prioritize what you're doing and delete some that you can and other things are at the top of the list. I think I remember that you take care of your dad and a person sure can use a break from that from time to time too. Take care and take advantage of help too, if you can. Gosh....I'm sorry there's so much going on right now for you. I totally understand about being in a support group where not only do you give but you are able to receive and from peers facing similar challenges and goals. I have 152 lbs to lose so for me, too, a pound lost doesn't on me doesn't look like a pound lost on a smaller person. Thanks for sharing your challenges. I am a believer that if one person is experiencing a challenge there are tons more experiencing similar challenges. 2233 days ago
