Some movement, finally, literally

One thing in the way of sustainable weight loss for me has been years and years of intractable back pain, compliments of an auto accident. I won't do drugs, and nothing else was working. Being a mere female, I never warranted a proper diagnosis, either. Well, I finally got one, and treatment for it. New life! For the next 48 hours I reveled in nearly painless standing, walking, stair climbing. And a few pounds took a hike as well, just because I was moving instead of avoiding it.
Nothing is ever free, however, and now my befuddled back is roaring with spasms. Not fun but, to me, an indication of the changes taking place. I haven't walked or stood or taken stairs like a normal adult in decades. It's no surprise that parts of me aren't taking the changes well. They'll get over it.
If you ever have to take muscle relaxants, I have one piece of advice: do NOT let your bladder get too full!! :)
