Stuff Happens .."Oh Well"

Tuesday, September 09, 2014

Yesterday I composed a wonderful blog about Music, as I was about to post when my computer crashed. "Oh well"
Having that "Oh, well!" response that Dr. Judith Beck suggests helps me to move forward. Yes that may have sucked, but what can I do now. What's past is past. What counts is what I do now.

LOVE that quote and always need to remind myself of it too. That, and "hunger is not an emergency!"

I find them both calming because they are so true. So often we "catastrophize" things that aren't anything than a momentary annoyance. And...since when is hunger EVER an emergency for those of us who live in a world of plenty?

Thanks for sharing this morning! Better luck with the blog tomorrow...

Yes, there is nothing to be done but shrug and move on. That blog will come back to you some day, perhaps in a better form for having time to think about it again. Or, something else will. One thing is for sure, your positive forward thinking will make something good happen!

Technology - so much help, so much a time-waster. Oh well is the best response to frustration. It is what it is, so if you can change it then move on down the road!

PS Can't wait to hear your thoughts on music emoticon
No pressure, when it comes to you again!

That's so frustrating when that happens.

Just like a bad diet day! Have to shake it off and just move on. I have learned not to beat myself up too much about it. Have a great day!
