We stumble, we fall, we get back up again. That's how we roll. Oooops, rather, that's how we spark.
Hello SP, the prodigal son returns.
There are so many country songs about being gone with my shotgun and my hound-dog that any title fits my longest absence from SP. I tell ya, it has been a bumpy ride...and while the bumps aren't quite outta the way, at least my head is filled with positive thoughts, positive actions, the desire to be encouraged and the willingness to stand by my SP friends.
Too much has happened in the last many months...to sum, lost weight, gained weight, lost weight, maintaining weight loss (yay!)...daughter healing well from car accident (thank you God!), a couple of job changes (good!), diabetes and cholesterol numbers way too high (not good, very not good), running again and signed up for the California International Marathon on a relay team, and a proud member of the California Department of Health Care Services Health Advisory Committee...yeah, me....who would have thunk it?
It was weird logging in yesterday. I saw a lot of the familiar faces which was great, but I also saw that a lot of folk did exactly what I did and stopped coming by SP.
But.....that's ok....some will come back, some wont, and I will meet new people, make new friends....and start again. There is positive in just about everything and that is a mindset that I have recently re-embraced and it feels soooooo amazingly good.
Especially ready to hang out with my Victorious Secret team, catch up, see who is left and see who is still sparking in faith!
Yep, I stumbled, I fell (flat on my fat face) and I stood up again...and I ran again....and here I am. Because that is what we do, that is how we roll, and that is how we keep the spark burning.
I'm home again.
