oh what a day

So, clearly I haven't written anything in a while. I have no reason for this, I can make up reasons.....but all lame. I am in a almost frantic internal struggle between wanting to be that fit person, to whom exercise is a top priority and being that person who loves to eat (I really do love to eat). During this summer, I have truly become more aware of how my body craves movement, and that when I don't get that physical activity in I seem to drift into caveman mode, reserve calories and don't move. I know this next statement will not shock anyone, but when I move more I want to eat more. So this is my current struggle.
Added to all of that, I feel my body is nutritionally deficient. My nails are peeling and grooving, my hair is dry and frizzy, and my face is gross. So I feel I need an overhaul. I am going to attempt to be much more diligent about my diet, and recording what I eat ALL OF IT (I had 8 twizzles yesterday). I need to add strength training to my get my booty in a calorie burning state. My cardio is coming along, but I know it is not enough.
I have a plan, let's hope I stick to it!!
