Attitude of Gratitude #3

Friends and Neighbors,
As my friend, Fred Rogers used to say, it is another beautiful day in the neighborhood! Seriously, the weather this summer has been unbelieveably nice.
My husband is working again today. In the past, that might have seriously bummed me out. Isn't 52 hours of work per week enough?!? He will end the week at about 64 hours again this week. He is a truck driver. He is legally permitted to work 70 hours per week, which is often the case. Instead of letting it get me down, I'm going to spend the day doing something I love to do.
I am grateful for three new online art courses which I purchased this week. I am grateful for the opportunity to have the time to myself to work on learning new techniques and having time to create. I am thankful having summer months off from work!!! I am thankful that my husband has a job that permits me to enjoy my hobbies without feeling too guilty about spending money for supplies.
I am also thankful for my little rescue dog, Lucy, who is my company when my husband is at work. She walks beautifully on a leash, and loves to snuggle in my lap.
I am excited that my granddaughter will be visiting next weekend! She truly is the light of my life!
I am grateful for the bounty of fresh fruits and veggies that are available in the summer!
For what are you grateful today?
