Time to start 5K training again!

Thursday, August 07, 2014

Hi everyone! It has been so long since I wrote anything. Here is an update about what is going on! I miss everyone! I try to read some pages when I can, but I have been so busy :( It has been a happy busy at least.

-I have been in my new house for 70 days now! I still can't believe it! We painted every room and did a lot. We did so much that now we don't feel like doing anything else haha. Our "To Do" list is very long!
-My garden has tomatoes, peppers, snap peas, green beans, and cucumbers! I can't believe our seeds did so well! I have containers, a raised bed, and even used some of the front yard to plant! I am planning on having a bigger garden next year too!
-I have to start 5K training again! I am signing up for a race on Nov 8th! Brrrr! My friend has an autistic son, and the race is to support the cause! I haven't been doing much exercise besides walking with the dog twice a day, so I really need to step up my game!
-I have been trying different things in the crockpot the past few weeks! Stuffed peppers with brown rice, ground turkey, and diced tomatoes! Yum! I want to try lasagna this weekend!
-Work has been busy, and I am also taking summer courses. I have so much homework and quizzes during the shortened sessions! Ahh!
-I have been trying to Spark more often. It is tough because most of my time on the computer is spent at work or at home doing schoolwork!
-I love GRILLING on the charcoal grill! Chicken, homemade turkey or chicken burgers, corn - yum!

Life is good! I want to exercise more, but I need motivation. Once these two classes are over next week, I won't have homework/studying as an excuse anymore! I am not looking forward to less sunlight at night, but I am looking forward to the cooler weather! This 5K race will hopefully help bring me on the right track! I need to Keep Sparking!
