Tired Today - But It Is A Good Tired From Walking

Funny how you think your day will be and how it turns out different. I planned to spend the entire day with my husband but it did not happen that way. Where we live, when it gets close to your birthday, you have to redo your automobile and your personal licenses. On certain years, before you do that, you need to get an emissions test. Nothing wrong with that. I applaud it in fact. Well, we had an engine light on in our van and we had gone in a couple of times to get it checked out. The auto mechanic ensured us that after putting it on the garage computer that it was something to do with a sensor and would not in any way affect the drive-ability of our car. So we went to get it e-tested but they would not allow any lights on the vehicle in order to pass the e-test.
Hubby took the van in to get it fixed and he dropped me off at the main library which is in a mall.
I walked and I walked and I walked some more, went into the library, had a coffee and walked and walked some more. I saw a movie and I ordered the child's combo which was just the smallest order of popcorn and had a diet coke and it came with a box of m and m's the smallest of which (size they give out at Halloween) 1 oz or so. Then I walked some more and on and on. I was to call hubby at 3 pm. and he said he would pick me up in another hour. We agreed to meet at a certain coffee shop right inside the library itself.
Now it is only 6:43 pm. and I am very very tired. It feels like 9 p.m. But it is a good tired. I have no idea at all how much I walked today....at first it was a fast walk, but I slowed down, way down at the end.
By the way, the part they ordered in was the wrong part and poor Terry has to do the whole thing all over tomorrow.
Then we can get the e-test done, then we can get the licenses.
However, I have decided to spend time with the grandkids and they will keep me active tomorrow.
We did get blessed today, when we dropped into our pharmacy to pick up Terry's insulin, our pharmacist gave us $20 to go out for lunch - how about that! He knew we were on vacation and said we looked like a cute couple.
