Huck and Meg's love to play ball. It was a very warm, so we didn't exercise the dogs for long.
Alice and Sarge just kicked back and watched.
Sarge can get both of his ears up now. Woo Hoo.
After we exercised the dogs we decided to drive to Leona Valley. We were near the top of Godde Hills Pass, and I had Dennis pull over for a picture. The sky was so pretty, and we could see for miles. Not sure if you will see the miles in here though.
We were looking for the Red Tail Hawks in Leona Valley, but didn't see them. There were a few Ravens flying around. We pulled off the side of the road, and parked in the dirt area. We watched the Ravens fly to our left, then fly back to our side, and land on the telephone lines. There was a Cherry Tree Farm to the left of us, and the birds were picking the Cherries that were left on the trees. They were having a feast.
Back at our house now. DH planted two Purslane plants, a form of Portulaca. He put both of them near the area where the trellis is.
Our Julia Child Roses.
A week ago we had a real pretty sunset. I took the pictures from my backyard.
The next 3 weeks we will be busy. DH and I are pet sitting for two different homes. I will try and get another blog in soon. Have a wonderful Week-end!!

Amazing shots! I love them all, but especially the pups playing. So much fun to watch. We lost our precious little Yorkie, Abi, in Feb, and we are down to one now. Abi and Jesse were inseparable, now we just have sweet Jesse to love for a short time. I miss the energy and fun between the two. 1952 days ago

Another wonderful blog!!!! Huck and Meg look so pretty and I know they enjoyed the ball game!! Of course Alice and Sarge are stunning as always. WooHoo for Sarge getting both his ears up, that is wonderful. Hope he is doing well in every way!
Love the Pursalene, we have some planted in Fl. and a hanging basket of it here at the cabin. It's so easy to grow and pretty. Love all your flowers and the beautiful view of the skies, birds, dogs etc.!!

I always love, love, love seeing Huck and Meg's!!! They are such beautiful dogs!! I had a dog once who was a quarter pfeist/chihuahua and half collie, so he was small for a collie but quite large for a pfeist/Chihuahua and got most of his looks from the collie, but turned out looking a lot like the border collies! He was mostly black with bits of white and brown. What a love and I imagine Huck and Meg's are every bit as sweet!! So happy Sarge's ear is better!! How is his other issues? Bruno is maintaining well on his prednisone and where I am concerned about how long he is on that, I'm scared to take him off it any time soon. He's getting a sway back and yesterday he tried to save me from the UPS man! He ran out the door and gave chase!! He'd take 2 strides and his back legs collapsed, then get up and do it again, and then again! And bark, bark, growl! Of course the guy had no problem getting into his truck ahead of him, but my sweetie tried his best to protect me from him!! Bless him! So, he still has plenty of spunk!! I do love seeing all angles of your little slice of heaven!! Such a beautiful place! Hope you are having a lovely day! (((HUGS))) 1953 days ago

I'm not sure I'd seen Alice before. She's lovely. I didn't know that purslane was a form of portulaca, but it makes sense. Pretty. Gail 1953 days ago

So glad Sarge is feeling better, have been thinking of him. Great photos!!!
--at the moment we have a pair of ducks on our land, possible because with all the rain we finally have a lake in our dam.
They wander all day, the female eating everything in sight and the male just following along. I'm hoping she is storing fat for ducklings to come. 1953 days ago

Whenever I see a blog with pups in them I have to open and read. Dogs are sooooooo awesomely cool and it looks like yours were having fun ... or were having a relaxing time.
JAMER123 sunsets!! What good people you are to pet sit at 2 different places at the same time! That's got to be time consuming. We do the pet sitting at our house with our granddogs!! All 5 plus our 2 is a house full!! Looks like Sarge is much better!! 1953 days ago
