    let me put it this way- I'm committed to the journey through all it's ups and downs. There's a distinct difference between my last day with tobacco & the journey I found on spark people. For me it wasn't and won't be daily perfection meeting all my standards fitness-food-water-sleep- scale
    spark streaks play the game with me...how many days in a row can I drink all my water (for instance)

    when I quit smoking I had to do only one thing right- not smoke-which I haven't since 6 or 7 years ago

    Hello Natashal Congrats on your victory over cigarettes. That's awesome! I agree with Carrielyn. One step at a time. I did give up sugar cold turkey but everything else I took small steps...one day at a time. emoticon emoticon

    Way to go on being smokeless!!!!
    Now, just do 'one thing' every day..... I started with parking farther away (more steps).
    Then I tried some of the 10-minute chair workout videos on SPARK (very easy)...
    ....after a while, I started stationary biking for 10-minutes a day......
    ....point is,,,,,,, just do one thing..... after a while, you will be up for one more.
