A thrilling day !

Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Visiting my hubby in the hospital everyday I began to feel at home there. I've grown to admire the Nurses & Nurse's Aides who have lovingly tended to my DH & helped to to make his Miraculous recovery. I've even fantasizes about joining their ranks.

Today Ed had the procedure- a catheter was removed from his neck- (finally) that was his last obstacle to his being discharged into the rehab. I stayed & helped the surgeon - by doing my best to keep Ed calm & keeping him from jumping up & getting hurt. I kept telling him to take deep breaths & exhale - pretty much as a woman does in Lamaze. emoticon I am Proud to say that I did not flinch or faint emoticon It was an Amazing experience !!! I felt like a surgical Nurse ( just a bit).

Moments later the Dr. Who I had referred to as "dr. Debbie downer" came in & gave us the news that we had been waiting for for a month & a half -ED WILL BE DISCHARGED TOMORROW !!!!!!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
