A lotta hogwash!

Thursday, June 12, 2014

This is Snoop, the 2nd hand cat----
Well, we have had him about 8 years----
He was a "gift" from son #4---- (You all know about those ""gifts""!--LOL)
Anyway, everyday, Snoop comes downstairs----
Can you see the resident German, (as in dog) at the bottom of the stairs?
You might see her better there.
You see, Tess, is out to get Snoop--
It's her goal in life---
But Snoop never gives up----usually just eventually goes under the gate and runs past this dog. Life is an adventure for Snoop!
He used to be on the Spark diet too----
Now he survives more on that "Hope Diet"--where he eats pretty much everything and hopes for the best!

Life around here, everyday, is pretty much an adventure !

Pets help us get that water in----
They assist us in our daily operations!

They help me with the Grand kids!

Even the Turtles tell us to Spark, and lighten up, so we can fly!

I also have some pet drama days. For the most part the dog and cat get along quite well, but there are occasions when they behave like two two year olds and I have to break them up. My cat, who weighs about 20lbs gives no lee way either. He'll just smack the dog when he's fed up. Other times the cat will cozy up to the dog and wash her ears...go figure. Shadow is the jealous one!!!! But I do believe that Shadow is intimidated by my mare, although she is just curious about her.
But isn't it fun to have all those pet adventures.

I think you OUTDID yourself on this one. I was holding my breath there for Snoop but if this has been going on this long I guess it is okay. Truly, I think this is the emoticon blog you have done yet! Only one in this equation is Himself...I missed him here!

    Have a really emoticon Thursday!

We have those daily pet dramas here too. Fasa the mastiff only 3 years old has suddenly decided that Indy, the shepherd beagle mix WILL play with him. Now Indy is old, 13 and does not play and has never played or been interested in toys for the 5 years we have had him. Fasa usually gets an angry bark from Indy (who sleeps or lays around all the time). Does this deter Fasa? NEVER!!! In fact he has develop such a love for Indy that wherever Indy goes so does Fasa. he will lie down next to Indy and Indy will get up and move. He will follow him and Indy will ignore him. Fasa is just not getting it that Indy wants no part of him. Menlo the sheepdog will play with Fasa, only Fasa is not interested. He only wants Indy. The more Indy rejects him, the more Fasa wants to be his buddy. Poor Fasa, a bit dim. He still has not figured out that he can't stand behind the door to get in. He stands there and looks up at you like he is asking what am I supposed to do? You say back up and move around the door to come in. He stands there and you can see his little pea brain working. And you say it again and again until finally a light bulb goes on and he manages to get through the door. Such a sweet dog but NOT the brightest!! A Himbo for sure. But so sweet and gentle.

Enjoy your adventures with Snoop and Tess and Coal today!!

Here's to giving up the hogwash, right? Since Spark won't let me type the word in the final picture? Have a great Thursday, Lynda! emoticon
