Went from 293 to 268...lost 25lbs so far!!! Yay!!!

Hello everyone, I know it's been a long time since you have heard from me. Just wanted to let you know all of the changes that I have made and my progress so far. So at the beginning of the year (weighed 293) I started back working out in the gym hard. I have been doing the treadmill, elliptical, and even lift weights (occasionally). I was doing the line dancing class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but switched that for the cardio class. My goodness that cardio class is like a mixture of Taebo and Bootcamp, but when I'm done I feel like I've achieved something. The first three months I would go to the gym during lunch and after work. I was also watching what I eat. Then, by April, May...I started slacking off. Eating the right foods is the hardest thing for me. Then, it didn't help when my husband decided he doesn't feel like cooking and order a pizza. Then, of course a friends birthday would come up and I would tell them, I'm only having one drink. Of course it never happens like that and I would blow a hardworking week in one night. This last week, I realize that I am in control of my weightloss. The thing that motivates me the most is how my clothes fit me. It really give me confidence in knowing that I can do this. My problem has always been sticking to it long enough to see the changes. About 2 weeks ago I finally went and purchase a few pair of slacks. The size 24W that I had were literally falling off of me. Now, I am in a 22W and it feels good. I haven't purchased smaller clothes in years! Now I am starting to get 2X instead of 3X. It feels really good and I cannot wait to get out of the 20's. lol Every decision has a consequence. Sunday, my Mom and I prepared salads and healthy snacks for this week. I am also trying to concentrate on drinking more water. My goal is to fill my water bottle up 7 times and I've only gotten through 1 so far today. Since my husband doesn't always cook as healthy, I've been getting a few meals from this place called My Fit Foods. They sell fresh, preportioned foods of all kinds. Yes, they are a little expensive, but it's expensive to eat healthy and I pay for convenience too. I absolutely get tired of tracking my food, but I started back last Friday. It's a little bothersome, but it really helps you become aware of what you are eating. For me, if I don't know the nutritional value, it sort of deters me from eating it. lol My goal is to be 265 by Sunday. I believe that I can do it, I just have to remain focused and take things one day at a time. Good luck to everyone on their weightloss journey!
