Ya gotta luv a rainy Sunday!

Sunday, June 08, 2014

This is my , what used to be--my veggie garden----It is slowly being taken over now, with flowers.
Last month, there was nothing there---after the winter---
I live in the North however---
Our daylight hours begin at 4am-----and it is still daylight , till almost 11pm.
So--the garden grows fast!
As you can see, the docks are out-----the windsock up---Himself was cutting the grass---
To-day we have rain which is a blessing as it forces us to rest!

It really is a blessing that to-day I can use the Dreadmill---journal, grab a wee nap----cook a healthy meal----and hug a German(as in dog!)-

I enjoyed that peek into your Himself & your world, Lynda.

Your garden is very nice. I was surprised to learn that it grew so quickly. We are still waiting for some blubs to produce some green sprouts. emoticon

    God bless!

What a pretty area you live in. Shame about the bugs. Your garden should do well with those long days. emoticon

It sure looks like himself could use a lawn tracker. I didn't realize you had that much of daylight either - allows for more sun tanning LOL!!!

Wow! I have the same comment as GABY -- I didn't realize just how far North you live! DS John lives in Fairbanks, AK and they're into the 4 am sunrise, 11 pm sunset -- sometimes even later -- and the sun never really totally sets there.

Well, enjoy your rainy Sunday! HUGS

Your yard is so gorgeous! I had no idea your days are that long...you must be farther north from us than I thought....I have a friend that lives in Alaska and they also have such LONG days of light!

Have a blessed Sunday, Lynda (and Himself and Germans and Fat cat and ALL)!

Rain refreshes the earth and life continues. More work, less play but just remember what happens in winter. I'll take the rain.

We all need those rest days! And what a beautiful place to rest... love your dock, your garden, and hope you get that 10 minutes to not worry... (after the dreadmill, of course emoticon or maybe walk and not worry ON the dreadmill?)

Your garden is looking great! After a very harsh winter and treading water from about 6 or 7 inches of rain this week, I am thinking my plants just might survive.
